These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and your purchase or use of any products, training materials, resources, or services offered by Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC.
By accessing this website, purchasing a product, downloading materials, registering for training, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
If you do not agree with these Terms & Conditions, please do not purchase, download, or use our products or services.
1. About Us
Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC provides paralegal training, consulting, workflow development, educational resources, and related services. Para Necessities is the training and educational materials brand of Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC. Throughout these Terms, “RLC,” “Para Necessities,” “we,” “our,” and “us” refer to Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC and its Para Necessities training materials, as applicable.
2. Educational Purposes Only
Para Necessities materials are designed for educational and professional training purposes. The materials reflect general practices, procedures, workflows, and educational information and are not intended to constitute legal advice. Nothing contained in our workbooks, templates, checklists, reference guides, courses, workshops, website, or other materials creates an attorney-client relationship or substitutes for:
Attorney supervision;
Independent legal research;
Professional judgment;
Firm-specific policies and procedures;
Applicable court rules or local rules; or
Verification of current law and procedural requirements.
Laws, rules, deadlines, court procedures, filing requirements, and local practices may change. Users are responsible for verifying current legal and procedural requirements and following the direction of their supervising attorney and law firm.
3. Copyright & Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise stated, all original content made available through Roberson Legal Consulting and Para Necessities is owned by or licensed to Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC and is protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
This includes, without limitation:
Workbooks;
Reference guides;
Training materials;
Checklists;
Templates;
Trackers;
Spreadsheets;
Graphics;
Charts;
Written explanations;
Training frameworks;
Website content;
Course materials;
Workshop materials; and
Other original educational content.

Purchase of a product does not transfer ownership of the copyright or other intellectual-property rights in that product. Purchase grants you a limited, non-transferable right to use the materials only as permitted by these Terms. Copyright protection applies to original expression; it does not give RLC exclusive ownership of underlying legal rules, facts, ideas, procedures, systems, or methods themselves.
4. Individual Use
Unless a Small Firm or Firm purchase is expressly made or other permission is granted in writing, all Para Necessities digital products are sold for Individual Use. An Individual purchase permits use by one individual only. The purchaser may:
Download and retain one working copy of the purchased materials;
Use the materials for the purchaser’s own professional education and reference;
Print copies for the purchaser’s own use; and
Apply the knowledge learned from the materials in the purchaser’s professional work.
An Individual purchase does not permit sharing or distribution of the purchased materials with coworkers, other employees, attorneys, paralegals, law firms, organizations, students, or other third parties. One Individual purchase does not permit firm-wide use.
5. Small Firm & Firm Use
Small Firm Purchase – Up to 5 Users
A Small Firm purchase permits one purchasing law firm to use the purchased materials internally with up to five paralegals, legal assistants, attorneys, or other legal staff at a time. Materials purchased for Small Firm use may be distributed electronically or in print to covered users and may be maintained in the firm’s internal training library, shared drive, document-management system, or similar internal system. The materials may be used for internal onboarding, employee training, professional development, and reference. The firm is not required to identify individual users to Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC. Employees using the materials may change over time, provided use remains limited to no more than five users at a time.
Firm Purchase – 6+ Users
Law firms wishing to provide purchased materials to six or more users must contact Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC for Firm pricing and terms.
Small Firm and Firm purchases permit internal use only. They do not permit materials to be distributed outside the purchasing firm, resold, published, sublicensed, rebranded, or used to create commercial courses, CLE programs, workbooks, workshops, consulting products, training programs, or other products or services offered outside the firm. Nothing in these Small Firm or Firm use terms prevents the purchasing firm from using knowledge learned from the materials to develop its own internal policies, procedures, workflows, case-management practices, or other internal operating processes for use within the firm’s own legal practice.
6. Prohibited Uses
Without prior written permission from Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC, and except as expressly permitted under the applicable Small Firm or Firm use terms, you may not:
Copy or reproduce the materials for another person;
Email or otherwise send purchased materials to another person;
Upload or store materials on a shared drive, document-management system, intranet, learning-management system, or other shared location except as expressly permitted for
Small Firm or Firm use;
Share download links;
Distribute printed or electronic copies;
Resell the materials;
Sublicense the materials;
Publish or post the materials online;
Upload the materials to publicly accessible websites, forums, databases, social-media platforms, or file-sharing services;
Remove copyright, branding, attribution, or proprietary notices;
Represent Para Necessities materials as your own;
Repackage or rebrand the materials;
Sell or distribute modified versions of the materials; or
Use the materials in a manner that exceeds the purchase type or permitted use.
7. No Use to Create Competing Training Products
Para Necessities materials may not be copied, adapted, reproduced, repackaged, or used in whole or substantial part to create, develop, market, teach, or sell competing commercial educational products or services.
This includes, without limitation:
Courses;
Workbooks;
Training manuals;
Reference guides;
Workshops;
Seminars;
Continuing education programs;
Templates;
Checklists;
Paid training programs;
Membership resources; or
Other commercial educational products.
Nothing in these Terms prevents another person from independently teaching or discussing Texas law, paralegal practice, litigation procedures, or other subjects addressed in our materials.
However, purchase of Para Necessities materials does not grant permission to reproduce or commercially exploit Roberson Legal Consulting’s original written content, organization, graphics, training materials, or other protected expression.
8. Artificial Intelligence & Third-Party Platforms
Para Necessities materials may not be uploaded, submitted, or provided to an artificial intelligence platform, large language model, content-generation system, or other third-party service for the purpose of:
Creating competing training materials;
Rewriting the materials for resale or redistribution;
Generating a substantially similar workbook, course, guide, or training program;
Building or training a commercial educational product based on the materials; or
Circumventing the restrictions contained in these Terms.
Use of limited excerpts for the purchaser’s own private professional reference or assistance does not grant any right to reproduce, distribute, publish, or commercialize the underlying materials.
9. Templates & Practical Tools
Certain Para Necessities products may include templates, trackers, checklists, spreadsheets, forms, or other practical tools intended to be used in the purchaser’s professional work. Where a resource is expressly identified as a template or working tool, the purchaser may modify and use that resource for the purchaser’s own work or, where applicable, work performed for the purchaser’s employer or clients.
Permission to use a working template does not permit the purchaser to:
Sell the template;
Distribute the blank template as a training resource;
Include it in another commercial product;
Publish it online;
Rebrand it as the purchaser’s own training material; or
Provide it to others for purposes unrelated to the purchaser’s authorized professional use.
This section is intended to allow purchasers to actually use the tools in practice without granting a right to redistribute the Para Necessities training library.
10. Digital Products
Para Necessities digital products are delivered electronically. Purchasers are responsible for providing accurate contact and email information and for maintaining access to downloaded materials. Product descriptions identify the materials included with each purchase. Materials may vary by product and may include workbooks, reference guides, templates, trackers, spreadsheets, or other resources.
11. Digital Product Refund Policy
Because digital products provide immediate access to proprietary downloadable materials, all digital product sales are final once the product has been delivered or made available for download, except where otherwise required by law.
If you experience a technical issue receiving or accessing your purchase, please contact Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC so we can assist you. Nothing in this policy limits any rights that cannot legally be waived.
12. Workshops, Training & Consulting Services
Registration for workshops, training sessions, consulting services, coaching, or other live services may be subject to additional terms concerning:
Payment;
Deposits;
Cancellation;
Rescheduling;
Attendance;
Materials;
Travel; and
Refunds.
Any service-specific terms provided at booking or purchase will apply in addition to these Terms. If service-specific terms conflict with these general Terms, the service-specific terms will control with respect to that service.
13. Accuracy & Updates
Roberson Legal Consulting makes reasonable efforts to provide useful and accurate educational materials. However, laws, rules, court procedures, local practices, technology, forms, filing systems, and professional practices change over time. We do not guarantee that every product will remain current indefinitely after purchase. Unless expressly stated otherwise, purchase of a product does not include lifetime updates, future editions, or replacement materials. Users are responsible for verifying current law, rules, procedures, and local requirements before relying upon the materials in professional work.
14. No Guarantee of Results
Roberson Legal Consulting does not guarantee any particular professional, educational, business, employment, case, or legal outcome from the use of its products or services. Training materials are intended to improve knowledge, organization, confidence, and practical understanding, but individual results will vary.
15. Professional Responsibility
Attorneys remain responsible for supervising nonlawyer staff and exercising their own professional judgment. Paralegals and other legal professionals using Para Necessities materials must work within the scope permitted by applicable law, professional rules, firm policies, and attorney supervision. Nothing in our products authorizes the unauthorized practice of law.
16. Third-Party Resources
Our materials or website may reference third-party websites, software, courts, government agencies, vendors, rules, forms, or other resources. Such references are provided for educational or informational purposes and do not necessarily constitute endorsement. Roberson Legal Consulting does not control third-party resources and is not responsible for their availability, accuracy, content, policies, or practices.
17. Enforcement of Intellectual Property Rights
Unauthorized copying, sharing, distribution, reproduction, resale, publication, adaptation, or commercial exploitation of Para Necessities materials may violate these Terms and applicable intellectual-property laws.
Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC reserves the right to protect and enforce its intellectual- property and contractual rights and to pursue remedies available under applicable law. Copyright exists when an original work is fixed in tangible form. Copyright registration is not required for copyright to exist, although registration may provide additional legal benefits.
18. Termination of Use Rights
Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC may terminate a purchaser’s right to use Para Necessities materials if the purchaser materially violates these Terms. Upon termination, the purchaser must cease unauthorized use and distribution of the materials. Termination does not eliminate any rights or remedies arising from conduct occurring before termination.
19. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, this website, educational materials, digital products, or services. Users remain responsible for their own professional decisions, legal research, case work, deadlines, filings, and compliance with applicable law and professional requirements.
20. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute concerning these Terms, purchases, products, or services will be subject to applicable Texas and federal law.
21. Changes to These Terms
Roberson Legal Consulting, LLC may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. Changes will become effective when the revised Terms are posted to the website unless otherwise stated. The effective date appearing at the top of this page identifies the current version.
